IPTT Civilian Courses : Concealed Carry License : Self Defense Techniques

Civilian Course Information

Anybody interested in participating in the Israeli Professional Tactical Training (IPTT) will be required to 1st take the “Basic combat pistol/Israeli instinctive shooting course” regardless of your previous training. The Basic Pistol course is the foundation for all the other courses offered through the IPTT program as each course builds upon the methodologies taught in the basic course.

IPTT teaches proven methods in defense with a firearm. These courses were designed for the Israeli Special Ops Divisions however, the IPTT program has tailored training courses to apply specifically to the average citizen/civilian. These courses apply to an individual or a husband wife as a team.

Here is a list of some of the civilian courses offered at Austin Self Defense through the IPTT program:

Dry fire clinic for pistol courses 1-2-3
Basic combat pistol/Israeli instinctive shooting
Advanced combat shooting course
Home defense with the combat pistol
Combat pistol 3/the loan warrior
Man and woman defend the home

Below are some of the benefits of taking the IPTT civilian courses:

Learn proper handling & control of a pistol
Gain self confidence in knowing how to defend yourself using a pistol
Techniques of handling a pistol to build comfort & confidence in utilizing a firearm for defensive purposes
Develop instinctive shooting techniques so that if a situation arises, muscle memory will take over without you thinking about it
Become very proficient in your shooting accuracy
Learn proven methods of self defense with a pistol – when & how it’s appropriate for bringing a weapon into a self defense situation
Learn when & how to incorporate Open Hand self defense techniques utilizing Krav Maga or Haganah during potential draw & shoot situations.
Teaches how to switch to an Israeli mind-set (Aggressive) in the face of danger
Become a warrior who protects self & loved ones from any potential threat

Concealed Carry:
Persons attending any IPTT course will have received sufficient training to receive their concealed carry license issued by the state of Florida. Florida reciprocates with 34 states including Texas. An application packet will be available for participants that are interested. A list of states that Texas reciprocates with can be found at:

A certificate, DVD set and Instruction manual is issued to all Law enforcement/military organization both public and private who attend our IPTT courses.
